GRAVEL BIKING IN ZUID-LIMBURG

Who thinks of cycling, thinks about Limburg. The cycling province par excellence, where gravel biking also found a strong home. Cycling knows no boundaries, is not a mere phrase. This is our Leitmotif when it comes to organising cycling events in the Zuid-Limburg region, a region which is surrounded by borders. Whether it is the Amstel Gold Race, Eroica Valkenburg, Limburgs Mooiste or our own Specialized Gravel Series Limburg, each event crosses into our neighboring countries. This offers a unique experience for all our guests from all over the world, therefore our organization proudly wears the name Crossborder Cycling Limburg.

Cycling in Zuid-Limburg for the whole family

Besides the Specialized Gravel Series Limburg, one of the earliest gravel events in the Netherlands, we are also proud of hosting the Shimano Kids MTB Race since 2016. This event opens the world of offroad cycling to families with children in the age between 3 and 12. A massive success over the last years where over 200 kids race an exciting track cheered on by their relatives. Besides cycling we also focus on healthy food, rediscovering the importance of playing outdoors and storytelling. The last couple of years we are focusing of telling the story of Liberation, and living in freedom. Important themes for us and future generations.

Both events are highly appreciated each year by our participants, partners, sponsors and stakeholders. Being a non-profit organization run by volunteers with a lot of passion for cycling and hospitality, this makes us proud and confident to say ‘welcome in the home of Gravel cycling in Limburg and beyond.
